They may be the best of the buddies in real life, but talk about their on-screen pairing; it seems having the two youth icons of bollywood; Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan together in a film might actually be a distant dream.

During a recent promotional activity of his film ROCKET SINGH, Ranbir Kapoor startled the gathering when he was asked about getting paired with his good friend Imran Khan in a film. When asked about it, Ranbir said, "I share a great friendship with Imran Khan and we stick together whenever we can, but as far as the matter of working together is concerned, I'm not dying to do a film with Imran Khan. Our friendship has its own value for me and professionally we have no such plans to feature together in a film at this moment."

Though this startling reply raised many eyebrows but it also shows how straightforward and honest Ranbir Kapoor is despite having achieved a superstar status with a string of successful box-office hits. Anyways, we hope Imran Khan too takes this pointed comment with a pinch of salt.
